Support Services Supervisor
The health and well-being of our residents is our priority. Our nurse is available every eight weeks for health consultations and assistance with referrals. Services include assistance with heart conditions and diabetes, wound management, medication consultation, suture and staple removal, blood pressure and pulse monitoring, B12 injections, and monitoring.
Professional Foot Care
Basic nail clipping services are available every eight weeks. Callus and corn management, and diabetic foot care can be arranged with external service providers.
Our in-house salon is available to provide hair and nail services to residents by appointment.
Weekly housekeeping services include bathrooms, vacuuming around furniture, and sweeping and washing linoleum surfaces. Linen services (towels, sheets, and bath mats) are provided weekly. Complementary laundry rooms are located throughout the building.
Emergency Response System
Residents may set up existing medical alert system or opt-in to our inhouse LifeAid system at no extra cost. This system is attached to transponders throughout the building. When residents activate the alert button, staff are automatically sent an email and emergency services are called to respond. Residents receive a call back to ensure it’s not a false alarm before services are dispatched.
In addition to regularly scheduled weekly and monthly activities, The Villa Royale staff often organize outings, excursions and seasonal events. Examples include monthly birthday parties, In Motion exercises, Knit & Natter, live music, shuffleboard, carpet bowling, bingo, card games, and more!
